BWINS-MBR membrane type sewage treatment plant, is a new technology developed at the end of the 20th century, which combines membrane separation technology and activated sludge biotechnology. It is different from the activated sludge method, which does not use sedimentation tanks for solid-liquid separation, but uses MBR membranes instead of sedimentation tanks, thus having efficient solid-liquid separation performance. At the same time, by utilizing the characteristics of membranes, the activated sludge does not lose with the effluent flow, forming an ultra-high concentration of 6000-1200mg/L of activated sludge in the biochemical tank, which thoroughly decomposes pollutants. Therefore, the effluent water quality is good and stable, and the effluent bacteria, suspended solids, and turbidity are close to zero. After domestic sewage treatment, it can be directly reused, which has advantages that traditional processes do not have in sewage treatment.

(4) The sludge discharge is low, only 30% of traditional processes, and the sludge treatment cost is low.

(5) Membrane bioreactors can filter out harmful substances such as bacteria and viruses, significantly saving long-term operating costs caused by chemical disinfection and expanding the scope of wastewater reuse.
