Operational principle

Mechanical filter is the use of one or several filtering media, under a certain pressure, to allow the original liquid to pass through the media, remove impurities, and achieve the purpose of filtration. The fillers inside are generally quartz sand, anthracite, granular porous ceramics, manganese sand, etc. Users can choose to use them according to their actual situation.

Mechanical filters mainly use fillers to reduce the turbidity of water, intercept and remove suspended solids, organic matter, colloidal particles, microorganisms, chlorine odors, and some heavy metal ions in water, and are one of the traditional methods of water treatment to purify feedwater.

Application scope

Working principle: Mechanical filter (also known as multi-media filter or quartz sand filter). It is a pressure filter that uses the refined quartz sand filter material filled in the filter. When the inlet water flows through the filter layer from top to bottom, the suspended solids and viscous particles in the water are removed, thereby reducing the turbidity of the water.
